Professional Institute of Medical Science is recognized for highly skilled and functional teaching. The department will coordinate and collaborate in training and research with other biomedical national institutions.

The department has a well-equipped laboratory for training and research work in the field of Pharmacy. The laboratory contains high tech equipment which is used to observe the effects of different drugs on different organs in animal. It builds the basis of research for students and prepares them to treat different diseases by using drugs.
